Major Rule Changes for 2011

PERMITS

15. Persons, who do not want to purchase a full membership, may purchase a permit for the fee determined at the

Annual Meeting of the members of the Association and shall be published in Appendix A.

(a) Permit holders may enter any MRCA rodeo accepting permits.

(b) Permit holders will not earn points, standings will not be kept, and no year end awards will be given.

(c) Permit holders will have 3 business days following the completion of a rodeo in which the permit holder placed, to upgrade to a full senior membership (the original price of the permit will be deducted) for the points earned at that rodeo to count in the year end standings.

(d) Permit holders will be required to abide by all MRCA rules and regulations, the same as full members.

(e) Permit members will not receive priority when entering rodeos, regardless of the number of rodeos entered.

(f) (i) Permits may or may not be accepted in any or all events, this is to be at the     discretion of the sponsoring committee and/or the stock contractor.

(ii) Notification of such decision must be indicated on the completed approval form when submitted to the MRCA office.

(g) A Permit Membership does not permit free admission to a rodeo performance at which the permit holder is not competing.

MCE Fees: $10.00 per contestant/per rodeo to align with CCA

All personnel working at MRCA Lead approved rodeos, must have a current MRCA membership.

11. All Personnel contracting or working at MRCA Lead approved rodeos must purchase a MRCA Personnel membership.

If the owner competes as a contestant, an individual card must be purchased.

2. In order to become a certified a judge, you must attend 1 judging clinic and shadow judge 2 or more MRCA rodeos until certified by the judging director; all of which must take place in a twelve month period.

(a) Application to be a judge must be made to the MRCA board of directors

10. Carded judges may be required by the judging director to attend a mandatory clinic
