- All tour points will be awarded to MRCA contestants based on a complete result sheet done with MRCA contestants only.
- The number of Points awarded for any particular event will be determined by the event purse made up of MRCA contestants, as stated by the official MRCA rulebook.
- If the Tour winner at the end of the Tour is already qualified to attend the Manitoba Finals Rodeo through the regular season standings, the finals position will be awarded to the next highest point earner in that event on the tour.
- In the event of a tie in points for the qualifying position, the tie will be split by money won at tour rodeos. If the position is still deemed a tie, there will be a witnessed coin toss after the last tour rodeo to determine the contestant for the position.
- To qualify for the Southern Tour position, you must attend a minimum of 5 co-approved rodeos in the United States of America, and 3 MRCA Lead approved rodeos in Canada. If you attend more than 3 Canadian lead approved rodeos, your top 3 rodeos will count. All co-approved rodeos in the United States of America will count towards the standings, so if you earn points at more then 5 of the approved rodeos, all of your points earned will count.
- The Southern Tour will take one contestant in the 7 major events, plus one team roping partner, and will not take any minor event contestants.
- Committees who are included on either tour must allow an arena banner from the Tour Sponsor to be placed at their rodeo (providing it does not conflict with an existing sponsor), and have their arena announcer read the official press release for the tour a minimum of 1 time per performance, as help to promote the tour rodeos. (slack performances are exempt from this rule)
